Meadow Dreams

Acrylic on Gallery Wrapped Canvas. 12" x 48". A beautiful chestnut foal lies stretched out in the meadow, completely relaxed beneath the open sky. Wildflowers dot the foreground in little touches of blue, purple, yellow and white, adding colour and life to the quiet scene.

I wanted to capture more than a sleeping foal. Meadow Dreams is about rest, contentment and those fleeting moments when there is nowhere else to be and nothing else to do.
