Golden Hour

Acrylic, 24" x 40"

There is something magical about the way autumn sunlight finds its way through a stand of birch trees, transforming an ordinary woodland path into something extraordinary. Golden grasses glow beneath the canopy of fiery orange leaves, while deep shadows and pale birch trunks create a beautiful contrast of light and dark.

A winding path draws you into the scene, inviting you to wander a little farther and discover what lies beyond. I wanted to capture that fleeting moment when the light seems almost luminous, filling the woods with warmth, colour and a sense of quiet possibility.

A celebration of autumn's beauty and the simple pleasure of losing yourself in nature.
